Founded 1912. Nashville's crown jewel of Black excellence. TSU is not a backdrop — it is a character with its own breath, weather, and gravity.
The student center, the Caf, the quad, the courtyard on Wild Out Wednesday — these spaces breathe with their own life. Fall semester means golden leaves, hoodies and Timbs, tailgates, step shows, and that specific electricity of a new year that hasn't yet met disappointment.
Every location below is a real place the director stood in between 2003 and 2007. The film treats each of them with the seriousness of a character.

Curry's Kitchen
Pancakes. Boiling eggs. Fresh squeezed OJ. iPod on the counter. Hot sauce. A hoodie on the chair. Everything changes at this stove.
Imani's Apartment
Black art on the walls. A record player. MJ vinyl. Good wine. Grown-woman energy at 21. Not a typical college apartment.
The Campus Yard
Wild Out Wednesday. DJ Big Boy AJ spinning. Greeks stepping. SGA in polos. He finds her in the crowd. They stop having to look.
